Transport

1 Bus

Two MyCity bus stops are at the front & back of the Mojo Hotel.

Price: the price of a MyCity bus card is R35 and you can load it with money to enjoy quality public transport to get around Cape Town. 

Where to buy the card? Sunset Pharmacy (11 Kloof Road - only cash accepted), Engen Garage (134 Main Rd) and Queens Beach, Waterfront and Adderley bus stops.

2 Uber / Bolt

Popular ride Apps include Uber and Bolt, simply download the App and go everywhere.

Breakfast

Your stay doesn’t include breakfast. However, many of our rooms are self-catering and also downstairs there’s the Mojo Market with a broad variety of restaurants. When making your booking, please ask our reservations team about the following two options:

1. Mojo Moola Vouchers: These vouchers can be used like cash at the Mojo Market. Available in denominations of R50, we recommend budgeting at least R150 for breakfast. The coffee shop "Vida e Caffè" opens at 7am. Vouchers should be purchased at least 5 days before check-in. They are ideal for client bookings or as gifts for family and friends.

2. Group Breakfast Menu: For group bookings, we can arrange breakfast from a menu. The minimum spend is R2,000 per day, and this must be paid at least 5 days before check-in. Please contact our reservations team to request the menu.

Supermarkets

• Checkers: located 2 blocks away in the Point Shopping Centre within 5 minutes walking distance. Address: Corner of Regent Road and St Andrews Rd
• Pick and Pay: located 1 block away at the bottom of Station House within 2 minutes walking distance. Address: 19 Kloof Road.
• Spar: located 3 blocks away within 7 minutes walking distance. Address: 94 Regent Road

Delivery: Checkers and Pick and Pay have delivery of groceries using their Apps.

Pharmacy

• Petries Pharmacy: it is in front of the Mojo Hotel's reception.
• Sunset Pharmacy: it is located 2 blocks away on 11 Kloof Road (it has a broader variety of products).

Note: for emergencies you can call an ambulance dialing 112.

Reception and access

The reception is open 24/7 you can access the hotel at any time.

Check-in & Check-out

Check-in: 15:00 hrs. 

Check-out: 10:00 hrs.

• Please return your key at check out, there's a fee for lost keys.

Late Check-out

• For free: the latest time is 12:00 hrs. to give enough time for housekeeping to clean the room for arrivals at 15:00 hrs. 
• 1/3 of the rate per night: from 12:00 hrs. to 14:00 hrs.
• Full night's rate after 14:00 hrs.

Common Areas

• Rooftop with sea view: One of the notable features of the Mojo Hotel is its rooftop terrace, which offers stunning views of the surrounding area, including the Atlantic Ocean and Table Mountain. This space is ideal for guests looking to relax and soak in the beauty of Cape Town's natural landscape. To get there, please press number 2 on the lift or take the stairs located in front of the middle desk at the reception. 
• Mojo Market: a bustling marketplace that offers a wide range of food stalls, shops, and live entertainment.

Laundry

The hotel doesn’t have a laundry service. However, there is a wash and dry service located 2 blocks away from the hotel called Unique Laundromat (5 Worecester road - Google maps address is incorrect).

Cost: the cost is R38.50 per kilogram with a minimum of 3 kg, if it's less they'll charge a flat fee of R115.

Delivery: they can deliver the clothes to the hotel reception on request. Delivery on the same day can work if the clothes are dropped early before 9 or 10am, otherwise the clothes will be dropped the next day.

Parking

We offer complimentary parking on a first come, first served basis.

Entrance: the entrance is in Clarens Rd. Please press the Mojo Hotel button and via the intercom tell our reception team that you are coming to check-in. On check-in our reception team will give you a parking ticket to place in your car's windscreen.

Fines: please park only in the spaces that have a blue Mojo Hotel logo, if you park somewhere else, you could get a fine.

Netflix & Youtube

If you booked a private room, it will be equipped with Netflix and Youtube.

Please press the smart hub button in the remote control to access.

Housekeeping

Our rooms are serviced daily, however, the bedsheets are changed every 3rd day.

Lockers and safes

Please use the safe (private rooms) or locker (dorms) to store your Belongings.

For dorms you can find locks at Checkers and Sunset Pharmacy.

Baggage Storage

On arrival and departure, you can store your bags for free in our storage room.

• Check-in: Our check-in time is at 3:00 pm, if you need to arrive earlier, please know that in the meantime we provide free baggage storage and you can enjoy our rooftop with sea views, the Mojo Market downstairs or discover Cape Town.
• Check-out: Our check-out time is at 10:00 am, you can leave your bags on storage and collect them on the same day.
